Message From The Managing Director

Dear customers, colleagues and friends,

We all stand on the threshold of hope, as we face the challenge of change and all the promises, hopes and fears of the year 2009 and beyond. In confronting what to some may seem like insurmountable economic and social challenges, many people risk falling into a depressive state of doom and gloom, or of lapsing into an attitude of denial. Either of these states will lead to seriously inadequate responses and rob us of our ability to find viable solutions.

During the great Depression of the 1920's, President Roosevelt rallied the spirit of a near broken people, by denouncing fear with the words "The only thing to fear is fear itself". In year 2009, nearly nine decades later these words ring true for people all over the world, including our beloved country Jamaica. Indeed, this is a time for us to muster all our courage, to find what is most innovative and creative in us and to develop a positive perspective from which to focus our energies, intellect and talent on the things we can do to transcend the forces of change.

In preparing our schedule of training and calendar of events for 2009, we chose the theme "FACING THE CHALLENGE OF CHANGE" to affirm our positive response to change and to provide a range of practical and motivational programmes to energize and mobilize individuals and organizations to meet and counter the numerous challenges ahead. In this way our exciting, motivational and experiential workshops, seminars and events are designed to "work on winning" - develop positive mindsets, a spirit of excellence, dynamic strategies, successful solutions and optimal performance.
